Kim Leine's childhood and adolescent years were spent in a family dominated by the beliefs of the Jehovah's Witnesses and the preaching of that religion. When Kim was five, his father left the family and his religion, and moved to Copenhagen. At the age of 17, Kim also left the family and went to Copenhagen to look for his father.
